Description:

NGC 6888 is commonly known as the Crescent Nebula. It is in the constellation of Cygnus. Sometimes it is known as Van Gough's Ear nebula. The nebula has been created by a very massive hot star continually blowing off its upper gas shells.

200mm F5 Newtonian telescope on a EQ 5 mount. Starlight Xpress MX716 CCD camera

39x30 seconds exposures. Processed with Starlight Xpress software and Astromix
