He has maintained that interest over the years by running his own tracking station and keeping logs of activity in orbit. From 1974 to 1989 he authored the Satellite Digest column in the British Interplanetary Society's magazine 'Spaceflight'. In 1999, he stared to maintains similar information at his web site - www.zarya.info - where logs, diaries articles and a Blog are updated with latest events on a daily basis.
