Adam Shore
Astronomy has always been an area of interest for me. Whilst studying Physics with Astrophysics at the University of York, I was involved with physics outreach within the department. It was a great opportunity to share something I'm truly interested in and passionate about with others. I now get to do this as a fulltime job! As well as my work up at the observatory, I'm also currently heavily involved in our school outreach programme. So if I'm not using a telescope at the observatory, I might be instead taking our inflatable planetarium around schools in the North East!
Favourite area of astronomy: Exoplanets.
Favourite hobby: Astrophotography.
Favourite deep sky object: The Whirlpool Galaxy.
Favourite space film: Contact.
