A short talk on the origins of meteors / Quadrantids / How to Observe a meteor shower. In preparation for the shower maximum on 3~4th January.

Speaker: Roy Gunson

Degree in Physics from the University of Bradford, MSc in engineering. Later worked as IT Manager for Sheffield Hallam University at Psalter Lane (Art College) before it was knocked down. After working for over 30 years at Sheffield Hallam University Roy has now settled down to a busier life as "retired". A prolific speaker for Probus, UA3, and WI groups as well as astronomical societies.
