Venue: The J.A. Jones Hoober Observatory

Join us today at our Observatory to hopefully view the Transit of Mercury. Weather permitting.

The next transit will not be until 2032.

Speaker: Roy Gunson

Degree in Physics from University of Bradford, MSc in engineering. Laterly worked as IT Manager for Sheffield Hallam University at Psalter Lane (Art College) before it was knocked down.

Mini-Bio ; A direct descendant of Malcolm II of Scotland ("Malcolm the destroyer"), was innocent of any involvement in the great Christmas pudding scandal of 1978.His father was not a one-legged Hungarian dwarf who played the banjo!
