Perseids Meteor Shower

Community Access Event

Monday, 12th August 2019 (22:00 - 00:00)

Venue: The J.A. Jones Hoober Observatory

Join us at around 10.00pm Monday  12th  August at our observatory (J.A.Jones Observatory Lea Brook Lane, Wentworth.)

Weather permitting we hope to view the Perseids Meteor Shower.

Remember it will still get cold so wrap up warm. The clearer it is the colder it will be.

We now have  toilet facilities.

The Perseid meteor shower builds slowly during  August and peaks before dawn on the 13th.
