Albert's talk  will lead us through the changes that Earth has undergone from its formation until now, and compares it to NASA's search for earth-like planets.

Speaker: Albert Zijlstra

Prof Albert Zijlstra works at the University of Manchester. He was Director of the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics between 2010 and 2015, has worked at the European Southern Observatory, the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in the US and the South African Astronomical Observatory. He has also held visiting positions in Hong Kong and Australia.
