Society Meeting

Thursday, 18th August 2016 (19:45 - 22:00)

Venue: swmcmeet

"In this talk I hope to introduce you to neutrinos, the black sheep of particle physicist's Standard Model, and discuss what makes these intriguing particles the centre of so much excitement and research. I'll also discuss a selection of experiments searching for astronomical neutrinos, what they've seen so far, and what we hope to learn with future observations.

Speaker: Marcus O'Flaherty
