Our society member Roy Gunson's talk will include, the 450th Anniversary of Shakespeare's birth, a brief look at the changes in the view of the universe during his lifetime from the geocentric model of Ptolemy to the heliocentric model of Copernicus. With a cast of characters including, Tycho Brahe, John Dee, Giordano Bruno, Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildestern.

Speaker: Roy Gunson

Degree in Physics from University of Bradford, MSc in engineering. Laterly worked as IT Manager for Sheffield Hallam University at Psalter Lane (Art College) before it was knocked down
