Speaker: Andrew Bunker

Andrew joined St Catherine’s College in 2008 as a Fellow in Physics, and as a Reader in Astrophysics in the Physics department. He moved from being Head of Astronomy at the Anglo-Australian Observatory, based in Sydney, and also previously held a Faculty position in physics at the University of Exeter, and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge for five years, and at the University of California, Berkeley for three years. Did both undergraduate degree and doctorate at Oxford. Also on the Instrument Science Team for the NIRSpec spectrograph on the James Webb Space Telescope, and he's an editor of Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, the main British journal for astronomy and astrophysics.
