So Santa Brought You a Telescope

Venue: The J.A. Jones Hoober Observatory
If Santa left you a telescope (or if you have one at home gathering dust) and would like to know how to use it, bring it along to the J A Jones Observatory on the 28th December 2023. Members of MSAS will be at hand to show you how to set it up and use it to observe the heavens. In addition, they will be on hand to advise on all things astronomical. The event starts at 4pm and will finish late about 8pm. Admission is free but you must bring a telescope or pair of binoculars!
This event is available to all ages from 5 to 75. Bring your new (or old) equipment to the observatory and we will show you how to get the best use out of it. There may be an opportunity to look around our observatory as well.
