So Santa Brought You a Telescope

Venue: The J.A. Jones Hoober Observatory
If Santa left you a telescope (or if you have one at home gathering dust) and would like to know how to use it, bring it to the J A Jones Observatory on the 28th of December 2024. Members of MSAS will be at hand to show you how to set it up and use it to observe the heavens. In addition, they will be on hand to advise on all things astronomical. The event starts at 4 pm and will finish late about 8 pm. Admission is free but you must bring a telescope or pair of binoculars!
This event is available to all ages, from 5 to 75. Bring your new (or old) equipment to the observatory, and we will show you how to get the most use out of it. There may also be an opportunity to look around our observatory.
