Scaling the heights, space exploration told via the medium of plastic model kits

Guest Speaker

Thursday, 21st September 2023 (19:45 - 22:00)

Venue: Hybrid

John will make an effort to share some little-known details about the first Moon race of the 1960s using examples of beloved plastic model kits as a focus as NASA approaches sending humans back to the Moon with its Artemis programme.

By using products from Airfix, Revell, Monogram, Aurora, and other manufacturers, you may revisit the history of space exploration and possibly even your own childhood. There is no assembly needed.
