Shadows in Space and the Stories they tell.

Guest Speaker

Thursday, 8th June 2023 (19:45 - 22:00)

Venue: Hybrid

We can learn a lot about shadows, both on Earth and on the Moon's surface. But it doesn't end there; merely by observing the shadows there, cameras on missions in orbit around other planets and their moons have taught us a lot. At the BAA Horncastle weekend in 2018, I delivered this speech as the William Fox Memorial Lecture, and it was well received.
