Our guest speaker Rachael Wood will be giving us a talk that will cover the history of our astrophotography from its inception to the present and will conclude with her top three or five processing suggestions.

Speaker: Rachael Wood

Rachael Wood is a primary school teacher from Doncaster who still lives and works in her hometown. She is the observatory manager and educational outreach lead for the Doncaster Astronomical Society where she delivers astronomy sessions for young children. Rachael writes a permanent feature for Young Stargazers in the Society for Popular Astronomy and is also a member of the SPA Council. In January 2022, Rachael was awarded the ‘Primary Education Award’ from the Royal Astronomical Society.
